The top 100 typefaces of all time
It's a claim that stirs more than a little controversy, but FontShop gave it a shot. They enlisted seven people who most would acknowledge as experts and weighted the list as follows:
Sales figures: 40%
Historical significance: 30%
Aesthetic quality: 30%
It is opinion, obviously, but pretty interesting.
