17 tips is good stuff but mostly honored in the breach. I noted a superfluous word so even Oxford finds it hard to do. Believe me clarity is hard work and keeping a paragraph moving takes practice. Every CIO needs a CLO (chief language officer) IMHO.

Not surprising (superfluous word). I doubt there is a site out there that does not contain at least a few grammatical errors and typos--it is such a difficult, time-consuming business to perfect language. And then, once you have, someone will disagree.
