This site offers some of the most interesting examples of Flash animation I've seen. When you “Enter” Redwood Creek, the first screen offers a wonderful, gently animated line illustration reminiscent of a fruit crate label. Click each major section to zoom into and out of other scenes.

Crisp, bright images tell the story better than a graphics-intensive design.

I was working with a client recently that wanted to exchange files that were larger than our E-mail accounts can handle. He suggested yousendit.com—a free service for sending large files (up to 1 Gig)—new to me. Great service. Only thing I can't figure is how they profit from it.

Wow. There's a lot to like about the Web for ad agency Leo Burnett. Great, featherweight feel to it.

Don't blame me if you don't get anything accomplished today. I didn't create the New York Public Library's Digital Gallery, I'm just going to point you to it. I find the photographs of everyday New York in the 1930s particularly fascinating. I can't help but think that, if you could awaken someone who died just seventy-five years ago, they would see today's world as science fiction.
